Fall Update

After a long hiatus I thought I'd update my readers - assuming I still have some! We're enjoying life in Calgary and continuing to bloom where we're planted. The Canadoca is now three and a half and enjoying music classes, preschool and one day a week at a day home. We would like to add to our family soon but I've been dealing with some health issues over the past year, so we'll see.

I've decorated and painted my house top to bottom and am now looking for a new project.  DRL for hire... I would love to do something which would allow me to write from home with a bit of flexibility.... If you know of something, let drop me a line :) I have done a couple of web writing projects in the past few months and may get back into corporate communications. Or maybe I will start another fun project like this one, I really miss contributing regularly to my blog and interacting with you!

The Canadoca still watches Xuxa and we figure we will always miss Rio. We need to plan a trip there!

Are there any cariocas in Calgary? It would be nice if the Canadoca could continue to learn portuguese (or any second language, really) while she is still young.
