This nightclub along the road to Tiradentes could very well have been the inspiration for "the club can't even handle me right now" - love it.

FYI: I don't think this is the type of nightclub you are used to (clearly)- it is more likely a whorehouse...

For sure it's a prostitution house. Usually when you see a place that calls itself a "Nightclub" or "Whiskey Club" ...that's what it really means.

Tee hee well you can take the girl out of the small town but not the small town out of the girl, apparently (read: NAIVE ME!)...
and here I thought I was so witty... though this makes a lot more sense now. Thank you for helping me out haha.
Funniest thing though was the GIANT speedbump right in front of this place. It wasn't the only one we saw, either. Just the first one...

DRL, it takes years and years to learn about all of this stuff (and there's a lot!)! Seriously, my first years here I would have thought the same, except I have a Brasilian husband to set me straight! Hope your trip was fabulous!
