When I was home in May I found this fantastic book by Marc Tetro. Why was it so essential to add this book to the Canadoca's library? Well, in over two years in Rio I am asked daily where I'm from. Before I get a chance to answer, generally people guess. And generally they guess wrong - exactly just once in the entire two years have I been asked if I am Canadian. Most commonly I am asked if I am American, then French, Italian, British or Argentinian. The little goose in the book encounters much of the same... I think this should be requisite reading for Canadian expat babies!

Cute book! And I find it really funny that no one ever guesses Canadian, because that was the first guess of probably 40% of people in Belo Horizonte when they asked where I was from! (I almost NEVER was assumed to be American!)
