Topless women. Sorry guys, hope that does not impact your Brazilian vacation plans? You won’t see it here, unless you go to a specific nude beach down the coast... Reportedly women are regularly arrested for attempting it on Copacabana and Ipanema.

You will also be hard pressed to find:

• Underwire or support of any kind in a bikini top.
• Bikini Bottoms that cover 50% of each cheek. Just doesn’t seem to happen.

About biquinis...there are so many beautiful ones to buy here but you're so right about the underwire issue! I found a place called Banco de Areia, it's a chain, there's one in Shopping Leblon, they actually have a few underwires to choose from each season. Meia-taça is the name for it.
