(That's how you pronounce HSBC in Portuguese).
A few months back I encouraged expats who read this blog to participate in the annual HSBC expats survey. I find the results interesting and figure the more expats who participate, the more accurate they will be.

Not a ton of interesting stuff, but here are two key items that caught my eye:
- Brazil (or rather Brazil's expat community) was ranked #18 for Quality of life in terms of Expat Economics, #16 for increased savings, #24 for possession of luxury items, #21 for income and #17 for disposable income.
- 68% of expats report that they are saving and investing more than they did previously living in their home country.
This one gave me a good laugh. I kept thinking, what in the world is that in quotes. Then I saw HSBC and knew right away. Ha, ha!
Just stopping by to say farewell. I've really enjoyed your blog and hope to keep up with it in the future. We are leaving Brazil next Saturday. Hard to believe how fast two years goes! Enjoy the rest of your adventures!
