After the bike tour we figured we needed some caloric replenishment...
We figured out that our hotel was about two blocks away from Tripadvisor's top pick for Buenos Aires restaurants. La Cabrera.
We waited well over an hour to get in, which we spent getting a quick drink nearby. It was definitely a unique dining experience - ordering an entree for two which, accompanied by about 6 side dishes each, along with a number of unique sauces and relishes. We really enjoyed the Argentine sausage appetizer, very lean and incredible! The meat served there was not the best we'd ever had (you can see from the photo it was a bit over-charred), but it was still very good.
After all of this food you can probably imagine we were stuffed, no room for dessert! But we did have room for a delicious dolce de leite lollipops which Mr. DRL claims was incredible combined with a glass of champagne...
The next day we headed down to the Casa Rosada for some more photos before heading to our next destination.
