Stop the presses! Continental will offer nonstop service from Houston to Rio thrice weekly starting December 17th. No more stopping in Sao Paulo!
I have a feeling there might be a few more announcements like this in the months to come.
The schedule:
Flights will depart from Houston's Bush
Intercontinental Airport on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 9:00
p.m. arriving at Galeao International Airport in Rio at 11:10 a.m.
the following day. Return flights will depart from Rio de Janeiro
on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:40 p.m. arriving in Houston
at 6:00 a.m. the following day.
Now, if Continental could only stop serving NUTS on the plane...
Yay! I usually fly Continental down there, that's super handy and time saving!
