So it's raining in Rio, has been since Saturday night, on and off. We are officially in southern winter aka the rainy season. If you are planning to come here, be prepared for temperatures around 20 degrees, which feels a lot colder than it sounds with the humidity. I have actually quite enjoyed this rainy week so far, as it has given me a lot of time and motivation to get things done!
It rains like there's no tomorrow there, I saw more rain than sun in 6 months living there. Funny, the post about the bluest skies being in Rio. And SP got the greyest skies? cough cough

Does it? Pretty sure I didn't say that... I don't recall a poll on the greyest skies. haha...
I think it would be the pacific northwest to win that one (I'm originally from that region which - is why the rain in Rio does not phase me, besides the last 4 months have not exactly been anything to complain about!)
It is amazing, however, how the "temperament" of this city changes with the temperature and weather! People definitely do not take to rain and cold here. And it shows in their attitudes, etc.
