Shoe Shopping in Rio

Just when you thought I was getting serious and not talking about shopping quite so much...

For women left at home while husbands and boyfriends travel to Rio on business, knowing how close they are to those shoes you'd love to have is torture!  My husband's boss' wife requested for her husband to bring her a treat home last week in the way of new footwear, so I stepped up to help them out.  Luckily many of the mainstream shoe stores have quite good web sites where she could peruse the shoe selection in Rio all the way in Canada (where, incidentally it was snowing last week... yikes.  We picked the right year to move to Rio I think).

Web sites of shoe stores in Rio:

Mr. Cat - slightly more conservative store - on basically every block in Ipanema/Leblon.

Andarella - slightly trendier store.  Locations throughout the city.

Arezzo -  trendier store. In Shopping Leblon.

La Folie - Nice with a few wild styles.  In Ipanema/Leblon/Barra/Gavea.

Beautiful shoes! I was actually thinking on shoeshopping at home before getting to Rio, but I must say I feel intrigued by those shops. You don't happen to know if the stores sell women's shoes in size 40/41?
